Vegan Yorkshire Puddings

My daughter is a Yorkshire puddingholic and still devours the whole batch given half a chance.

Really easy to make and very moorish,

INGREDIENTS (makes 14 )

225g Self raising flour

1 Tbsp Baking powder

300ml Soya milk

100ml Warm water

Shake of salt

8 Tsp coconut oil


Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees celsius

Put half a tsp of coconut oil in each muffin tray and place in the oven to get hot.

In a bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and milk.   Once a batter is achieved whisk in the water.

Carefully remove the muffin tray from the oven.


Pour the batter evenly into each muffin tray.  Place the tray back into the oven and bake for 30 minutes.

When the Yorkshire puddings are cooked remove them  from the muffin tray  and place on  a cooling rack.


These can be heated straight from frozen so can be made in advance.
